Nail Shapes! Find your go to nail!
There are many different types of nail shapes and many different lifestyles that go with each nail shape. I would like to take the time to introduce each nail shape and I hope that you can find the nail shape that best suites you!
First we have the square shape! This is one of my favorites because I just like the way they look. I also like how durable this nail shape is. To get this shape all you do is take a nail file straight across and as they grow overtime they will start to get the square look. This is probably the most durable nail shape there is because there are no round edges. It is good for a wider nail bed and makes your nails look more rigid, but girly at the same time. I absolutely love the way this nail looks.
The squoval nail shape is between square and oval nail shapes. I also really like the way this nail shape looks it's not too circular, but also not too square. This nail shape is more girly than the square shape and pretty durable as well. Being that it has more rounded corners it is easier to break, but still pretty durable. This nail shape is good though if you do a lot of things with your hands. It is not easy to mess up a nail like this. How you get this nail is to file your nail straight across, like the square shape, and curve the edges in a little. It prevails in durability over the oval nail, but it also isn't as rigid as the square.
Next is the Oval nail shape. This nail shape is more natural. It is not as durable as the square or squoval shape by any means, but it looks more feminine. This usually is more for a longer nail because it is made to look more feminine. You achieve this nail shape by letting your nails grow out and filing them to more of a round shape. Really focus on filing the sides and leave the middle part looking more pointed, but make sure there is not a point at the end because that is a different nail shape!
The almond nail shape is not my favorite by any means. I mean it is up to your personal preference, but I could not ever get into it. I do not like the look of the pointed nail and I know that they break extremely easy. They have very extreme filed edges. You file all along the edges until there is a point at the end.

I feel that this nail is for more of a mature style. You see this style on individuals such as movie stars or singers.
The round shaped nail was the nail that I used to have before I fell in love with the square and squoval shaped nails. This is more of a natural looking nail. This is usually the go to nail for men because it looks so natural. It is the usual way nails grow or at least the way mine grew naturally. I like shaping my nails better because I feel like it looks better. I never had to do any filing to get to this shape, but if you were to have to file your nails you would just follow a round shape. If you keep them short they would not break easily, but the more length to them the easier the breakage.
I hope you find what shape best suites you and the one you like the most. My favorites are square and squoval only because I like the way they look and I like how durable they are! It is definitely my go to nail shape!
I hope this helped!!

Third Manicure
This third manicure took a tiny bit more time than the others, but I LOVE it! I am currently wearing this one which means that I finally caught up to where I am in real life. I will be posting more of my nails as time goes on and I should post weekly.
Anyways, all that aside I am in love with the color white on my nails since I have been using it a lot more recently. I painted my nails white (2 coats) and then with my nail stripers I used the color green to make it look like grass and I just did three stripes one going up, one diagonal, and one going out to the side. With my nail doters I did 5 purple dots and they one orange dot in the middle of the purple dots! I have gotten a lot of compliments on this manicure! I think it's my favorite so far so I hope you all like it!

Pedicure 1
Pedicure Number 1!! I just got my nail stripers in the mail and I had to use them. I know my feet aren't the prettiest things in the world, but oh well! This is my first pedicure and I absolutely adore it.. I just painted my nails a white and striped on two colors that I thought looked pretty together for my big toe! Pink and Green!! :) The rest of the toes I did pink because I thought it would be a little too much to do all of them pink and green! So there you have it an easy to do manicure that takes very little time!! Just make sure you give it dry time!!

Second Manicure
My second Manicure was also a polka dot manicure except this one is a tad more girly. The gold compliments the pink perfectly. All you do for this one is paint your nails one color (except for the ring finger which will be the color of your polka dots on the other fingers.) Polka dot the sides of each nail a color that you feel compliments it. Then on your ring finger you paint that nail the color of the other polka dots and polka dot it with the color of your other nails. It's that easy. This was a really quick and easy manicure that I recommend to all!
First manicure
My first manicure is a dot manicure. All you need for this manicure is a dotting tool and if you do not have one of those you can use a toothpick or cut off the end of a cue tip. All you do is paint on a base color and from there just layer on different colored dots leaving less dots at the tips of your nails! And tada!
